PSALM 69:1-4 New International Version

For the director of music. To the tune of “Lilies.” Of David.

Save me, O God,
    for the waters have come up to my neck.
I sink in the miry depths,
    where there is no foothold.
I have come into the deep waters;

    the floods engulf me.
I am worn out calling for help;
    my throat is parched.
My eyes fail,

    looking for my God.
Those who hate me without reason
    outnumber the hairs of my head;
many are my enemies without cause,

    those who seek to destroy me.
I am forced to restore

    what I did not steal.

The Psalmist is feeling harassed and oppressed by his enemies. He calls out to God for justice and mercy. He asks God to help him.

Tell God about your problems and needs. Come to Him in prayer every day.

ZABURI 60:1-4

 

1 Ee Mungu, uniokoe, Maana maji yamefika mpaka nafsini mwangu. 
2 Ninazama katika matope mengi, Pasipowezekana kusimama. Nimefika penye maji ya vilindi, Mkondo wa maji unanigharikisha. 
3 Nimechoka kwa kulia kwangu, Koo yangu imekauka. Macho yangu yamedhoofu Kwa kumngoja Mungu wangu. 
4 Wanaonichukia bure ni wengi Kuliko nywele za kichwa changu. Watakao kunikatilia mbali wamekuwa hodari, Adui zangu kwa sababu isiyo kweli. Hata mimi nalilipishwa kwa nguvu Vitu nisivyovichukua. 
 

Mtunga zaburi anamlilia Mungu. Anajisikia kuteswa na maadui zake. Anamwomba Mungu huruma na haki.

Njoo mbele za Mungu katika maombi. Mwombe Mungu akusaidie, mweleze shida zako na atakusikia na kukujibu.
